3 Rivers Commercial LLC ("3RC," "we," "us") operates www.3rccontracting.com under the name 3 Rivers Commercial Construction. 3 Rivers Commercial LLC is the company responsible for the personal information described in this policy. We are a commercial general contractor serving the Charleston, South Carolina metro. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or contact us, how we use it, who receives it, and the choices you have.

Information you give us

When you fill out the consultation form on our website, we collect your name, email address, phone number, how you heard about us, and the description of your project that you type in. When you call, text or email us, we collect what you choose to share, which may include your company, your role, the property address or area, and your plans for the project.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our site, our website host and the tools below collect device and usage information through cookies, pixels and similar technologies. That can include your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the site that sent you to us, approximate location based on your IP address, and actions such as clicks, scrolling and form submissions.

  • Squarespace, our website host, sets cookies it needs to run and secure the site and to measure basic site traffic. It also stores the forms you send us.
  • Google Analytics shows us how visitors use the site and which pages lead to inquiries.
  • Google Tag Manager is a tool for loading measurement tags on our site.
  • Google reCAPTCHA on our form helps block spam. It collects hardware and software information and sends it to Google for analysis.
  • Microsoft Clarity records how visitors use our pages through behavioral metrics, heatmaps and session recordings. A session recording is a replay of your visit to a page: your mouse movements, clicks, taps and scrolling. Clarity uses first- and third-party cookies and similar technologies. Microsoft may use this data for its own purposes, including Microsoft Advertising, as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
  • Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) measures the results of our ads and can help show our ads to people who have visited our site.
  • Adobe Fonts delivers the fonts on our site and may receive your IP address.
  • Advertising tools. We may also use measurement tags from advertising platforms, such as Google, Microsoft (Bing and Copilot), Meta and OpenAI (ChatGPT), to see whether our ads lead to inquiries. These tags may record that a visitor arrived from an ad and later reached our thank-you page.

Third parties, including Google, Microsoft and Meta, use cookies, web beacons and similar technologies to collect or receive information from our website and elsewhere on the internet.   • Do Not Track. Our site doesn't currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals. Other companies, including those listed above, may collect information about your online activity over time and across different websites when you use our site.

How we use information

  • To reply to you, ask follow-up questions about your project, and set up calls or site visits for projects that fit.
  • To prepare budgets, bids and proposals.
  • To keep a record of the inquiries and projects we're discussing.
  • To run, secure and improve our website, and to understand how people find us and how our ads perform.
  • To meet legal, tax, insurance and recordkeeping obligations.

Calls and texts

If you give us your phone number, we may call you about your inquiry or project, using the number you gave us. Our calls are made by our team, one at a time. We don't send marketing texts, and we don't make automated or prerecorded marketing calls. If you don't want calls or texts from us, tell us, and we'll stop and note it in our records.

We never sell your phone number, and we don't share it with third parties for their marketing.

Emails

If we email you, you can ask us to stop at any time by replying "unsubscribe" or contacting us below. Any marketing email we send will include our mailing address and a way to opt out.

How we share information

We don't sell your personal information for money, and we don't give, rent or trade your contact information to others for their own marketing. The analytics and advertising tools described above collect information as you use our site, under their own policies.

We share information only with:

  • Companies that help us run the business, such as Squarespace (website and form storage), our email and file provider (Google Workspace), and the software and AI assistant tools we use to manage email, documents and project records.
  • Analytics and advertising companies, as described above.
  • People working on your project, such as design professionals and our trade partners, when your project needs it.
  • Our professional advisers, such as accountants, attorneys and insurers, when needed.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the rights of others.
  • A buyer or successor, if our business is sold or reorganized.

How long we keep information

We generally keep inquiry information for about 3 years after our last contact with you. We keep records of opt-out requests for at least 5 years. We keep project records longer, for as long as our business, insurance, warranty, tax and legal needs require. The analytics and advertising companies keep the data their tools collect on their own schedules.

Your requests

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing us at the address below. Depending on where you live, the law may give you other privacy rights; contact us to use them. We'll respond within a reasonable time. We may keep information we need for legal, tax, insurance or business records.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No website, email or online form is completely secure, so please don't send us Social Security numbers, bank account numbers or other sensitive financial information through our website form.

Children

Our website and services are for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Links to other websites

Our site links to other sites, such as our Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube pages. We don't control those sites, and their privacy practices are their own. If we add embedded videos, the video provider may set its own cookies when you play them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top.
